Structural Sub-System

Purlin, girt, flange brace and bracing are secondary structures. They work as pillars, take a vertical load in steel buildings such as wind loads and seismic loads. In addition, they provide a horizontal brace for compressed wings of the main frame components and thus improve the bearing strength and stability of the frame. Secondary structures such as roof purlins, girts also act as mediators between the cover and the main frame structure.

Purlins are used most often in the shape of the image section Z and C.

*Material standards are divided into two categories. Purlin with steel base is galvanized steel, and purlins with plain steel are common steel

Flange brace are used most often in the shape of the image section L, U or C

*Material standards are divided into two categories. Flange braceusesgalvanized steel and flange brace uses common steel.

Braces are often used with round steel or cable.
