MASCOT VIETNAM GIA LAI PROJECT OFFICIALLY COMMENCES

SEICO has officially commenced the structural steel and protective coating package for the Mascot Vietnam Gia Lai Factory, a large-scale foreign direct investment (FDI) project in Vietnam’s Central Highlands region.

The project is invested by Mascot Vietnam Gia Lai Co., Ltd., a member of Mascot International A/S – a leading Danish workwear manufacturer specializing in high-quality protective clothing and uniforms for the European market and customers worldwide. Mascot’s continued expansion in Vietnam reflects the country’s growing attractiveness as an investment destination while reinforcing its increasingly important role in the global textile and garment supply chain.

SEICO is responsible for the structural steel and protective coating package for Mascot Factory

Located in Gia Lai Province, the project is being developed with a total investment of USD 52 million on a 9.8-hectare site. The development aims to establish a modern manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and quality control complex. Once operational, the facility is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 5 million products, create employment opportunities for thousands of local workers, and contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the Central Highlands region.

As FDI inflows continue to grow strongly in the manufacturing and processing sectors, projects such as Mascot Vietnam Gia Lai not only enhance Vietnam’s domestic production capacity but also stimulate the development of supporting industries, logistics networks, and local supply chains.
