In recent days, tropical storms have formed and caused damage across many tropical countries, including Vietnam. During the storm season, Seico always prioritizes prevention, preparedness, and safety assurance at all construction sites and projects.
3 Proactive Steps Before a Storm
- Reinforce & inspect roof and steel frames: tighten bolts, check roof sheets and drainage systems to avoid roof damage or flooding.
- Protect materials & equipment: cover, secure, and move lightweight items to safe areas.
- Establish an emergency plan: prepare evacuation procedures, assign clear tasks, and ensure communication channels remain effective.

5 Safety Measures During Storm Season
- Equip full protective gear: helmets, boots, reflective raincoats, anti-slip gloves.
- Cut off electricity when necessary: check electrical systems to prevent leakage or short circuits.
- Mark & restrict dangerous zones: stop working at height, place warning signs for strong winds and slippery conditions.
- Ensure site drainage: regularly clean gutters and drains to prevent flooding.
