The Phuong Dong Van Don Entertainment Complex is one of the most architecturally distinctive developments in Van Don, Quang Ninh. Beyond its impressive scale, the project sets exceptionally demanding requirements for “non-standard” steel structures: large spans, elegantly curved geometry, complex spatial trusses, and near-perfect aesthetic standards.
These are exactly the reasons why the Investor entrusted Seico with the project—an enterprise with extensive expertise in delivering non-standard steel structures for premium developments, where engineering excellence, architectural beauty, and safety must operate at the highest level.

“Non-standard” architecture & structure demand exceptional design capability
The roof system of the Phuong Dong Van Don project is defined by:
- Multi-layer curved steel trusses with complex spatial connections
- Tall columns with high coastal wind loads
- A requirement for soft, flowing forms instead of the flat, conventional surfaces typically used in industrial buildings

To meet these challenges, Seico’s design team carried out:
- Parametric modeling of complex curved surfaces
- Development of custom cross-sections and multiple curved components shaped strictly to architectural profiles
- Detailed shop drawings with tight tolerance control at every connection point to ensure accurate geometry during on-site erection
The result is a stable and safe roofing system with long-term durability against coastal storms—while still preserving the architectural spirit of being light, open, and gracefully curved.
