Typhoon Number 9 - The strongest storm hits central Vietnam
The last days of October, the Molave storm and its circulation have left many serious consequences in central Vietnam. Initial statistics showed that 23 people died, 47 people were missing. Nearly 100,000 houses and 157 schools were blown away, flooded and collapsed. As a result, traffic and offices were severely damaged .. Realizing the effects of the storm on people and assets, Seico Group organized a donation at our office and 02 the factories and received the enthusiastic response of the company's employees.
The donation box is located at the Seico Group office.
Joining hands to contribute - spread love
We worked with our partners in construction field to make plan to visit and support 06 schools in Bo Trach district and Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province.
On 3rd of November 2020, the trucks carrying basic necessities and clothes for people in need travelled 600 km from Hanoi to Quang Binh - where it was heavily affected by the storm.
At the schools, the volunteers have given essentials for the repair of classrooms' infrastructure such as TV furniture, speakers, refrigerators, washing machines and 300 sets of learning tools and clothes for teachers and students.
The volunteers arrived at 06 schools in Quang Binh province.
The volunteer group donated warm clothes to the students.

Seico hopes that these practical actions will contribute to lessen difficulties for people in flooded areas, helping teachers and students come back to school with a peace of mind. The trip definitly represents human deep connection and spreading the spirit of mutual love in the community.
